About Teri

Teri moved to Texas at the age of 14 when her father was transferred to work at NASA in Clear Lake.  She has loved Texas ever since.  Being from the school of work hard and you will be successful and treat people as you want to be treated.  In the early 2000’s she partnered with her husband to start 2 oil companies, and another that went publicly traded on the Australian stock exchange.  During this time her love for Real Estate evolved.  She then started purchasing homes, fixing them up and renting them out. She has a passion for taking something that needs repair and making it better. This is where she learned about staging a home and how landscaping gives a house curb appeal.  This was long before any of the flipping shows ever hit cable TV.   Going through the mortgage process so many times in purchasing these properties, generated a hands-on real experience of the mortgage process. 

After covid she sold her company and during a short 6 weeks of retirement decided to obtain a Real Estate license. Her next move was buying and selling a place in Dublin, it sold in 9 months after glossing it up and doing minor repairs. She found dealing with Armstrong Real Estate to buy and sell the property was easy so going to work with them was a natural fit.

Going back to her roots of investing was not a hard move. Teri is now the proud owner of Urban Miracles Homes LLC.  Their mission is to build affordable housing for families, also buy a few homes and flip them.  Being an Investor and Agent gives her the foresight to see a property with a different vision.  She has the knack to show a property that needs some work, perhaps work the buyer themselves can do.  Lighter color paint, new flooring, change the lighting.  With her assistance they can bring that value to their home after they purchase it.  In listing properties, she has been known to paint fencing, trim on the home and the walls themselves.  Rearranging furniture and staging homes is just something that comes natural. 

She and her husband, Ron, live in Dublin on their 100-acre sheep farm where they raise sheep and border collies to work the sheep.  Before getting into the border collies and sheepdog trialing, she rode horses (racehorses, event horses and dressage horses).  Horse property to ranches, she has owned it, bought it, and sold it.
